| Choosing a Surveyor
We are members of SAMS, the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors
and abide by their code of ethics and rules of practice. This
includes our independence, integrity and objectivity and avoiding
prejudice and conflict of interest
Not all surveyors in the BVI (or in the Caribbean) can make
this statement. We recommend that you ask the surveyor who
are their Company Directors, before you contract their services
We have no links with and are not associated with any boat
yard, marina, yacht sales, repairer, or Charter Company. We
do have a good working relationship with all the boat yards
and Charter Companies and repairers in the BVI. Our office
is at Nanny Cay Marina but we are completely independent of
the marina
Our surveys are accepted by all Insurance Companies and Financial
Institutions. There are some surveying companies in the BVI,
whose surveys are not accepted by some Insurance Companies.
We recommend that you check with your insurer and confirm
that the Surveying Company is acceptable to them.
