 BRETT STILLMAN

 

Brett was born and bred in the ‘City of Sail’, Auckland, New Zealand.

He worked his way onto the water at a young age and his passion and enthusiasm for yachts lead him to follow a career in the sailing industry.

Starting as Engineer and then working his way to Captain, his last command was a large luxury catamaran.

 

During his eleven years living and working on the sea Brett has skippered and engineered on vessels ranging from 30ft to 150ft, and operated, organized and managed many refit programs.

 

Brett is a licensed RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Ocean Captain # 4314 and is a qualified Engineer, a five year apprenticeship he undertook whilst living in New Zealand.

 

He has also completed a Diploma in Marine Surveying and is a member of the International Institute of Marine Surveyors.

 

With his extensive background in the marine industry he has amassed a vast portfolio of experience.

 

In addition Brett holds a Master Grade II license (Caribbean) and is a PADI Divemaster.

 

Brett’s experience and broad scope of knowledge steered him to a natural course of becoming a marine surveyor.
